UNCUT is a multimedia platform that aims to empower student-athletes and highlight their beliefs and talents beyond their sport. We work closely with student-athletes to help them show their true selves to the world. We request that athletes be vulnerable with us, so in turn, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of empathy and integrity.

At our core, we value diverse thought, passion, and grit. If you’re an out-of-the-box thinker that enjoys taking ownership of projects and collaborating in teams, we want you on this team. At UNCUT, you have the opportunity to get involved in a multitude of industries and professional areas including but not limited to sports, business, videography, graphic design, journalism, social justice, mental health, and non-profit work, all while having freedom you otherwise wouldn’t have in a more traditional or bureaucratic organization.

You do not have to be an expert to start. We emphasize a continuous commitment to learning and to gaining hands-on experience. None of this team knew what we were doing on day one, nor do we expect you to; however, we do expect you to be eager to learn and improve. We start all staff off with a one month trial period; that is an audition for both of us: a low-stakes period for you to learn and show us what you can do, while also assessing whether you enjoy the role and fit with the team.

We value unrestricted creativity. If there’s something you want to do here, within an existing role or in a totally different field, we are all ears.

All applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration:

Exceptional work ethic
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proactive, self-starter with strong attention to detail
High-level verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Some previous work experience (part-time, internship or volunteer) related to the department(s) of interest is strongly preferred.
